> Why one2one ?
When sitting in a classroom with others there is not the time to ask the questions or study at the speed or pace you prefer or your child prefers. On a one2one we set the pace together and study at a pace you set. For this reason it is much a better environment for learning, no matter if your knowlege is elementary or advanced.
> Teaching and lodging
Teaching and lodging combined enhances this for a totally immersive experience. My sons both teenagers are happy to engage with you. When time allows go to the Cinema, watch television in English or do some shopping, all that requires the need to converse which is very important in learning. The idea is learn and practice and to do this you need to be lodging. It is also possible to stay somewhere else with a relative or friend. We are also happy just to host you.
> Activities
Depending on your interests do some sports like cycling and climbing or experience a lot of history in Kent with castles and other historic buildings. Even a visit to London is only 37 minutes away by train with all the attractions that holds.
> History and art based learning
Learning can be based around history - any part of history. So if you enjoy castles we can explore different castles in Britain, their history and their architecture. We can even visit some. We can arrange learning through video, discussion and review as well as attending any talks on that topic (where available). Similarly art based learning can take in the galleries we have locally such as Margate or London looking and discussing different forms of art and basing the grammar and learning around those topics.
> Prices
- For 10 hours English teaching £495.00 per week
- For 2 activities £130.00 (for each subsequent activity £65.00)
- For 15 hours teaching £560.00 per week
- I can quote separately for twenty hours if you contact me
- There is a fee for the actual placement into a school and also a fee for placing with a family.
